my ladder blew off a windy roof this morning. i found another way down and when i got around the corner, an old man was yelling up to the roof to see if he could help as if i was stranded.
i told him i got down and i didnt need help. he tipped his hat and said, as if he was impersonating sam elliot "its how we do round here."
i laughed aloud and remembered to thank him, running to the corner of the building, but there was no one there.
i went inside and asked around but no one had seen him. it was as if this old man flew away.
what the hell waa that? why cant i get magical old man help like this for important stuff.
