Welp, looks like upstream changes to uclass broke mediatek ufs driver, so that will need some debugging...
But it works on older U-Boot tree, so I don't have to deal with annoying LK. Since I can now boot this phone using U-Boot's EFI implementation, it's time to pet some penguins
