Things aren't better, but that's because we're being punished for telling the EU to fuck off, then putting pressure on successive prime ministers to do the job they were elected to do. As we can see from Starmers recent moves to tie us back to the EU, not one bit of voting or writing to MPs has made a single bit of difference. Nothing. We're fucked. There's still some optimistic people, but honestly...wasted effort, imo.
