No, there would not be a "bigger block list".
Small instances are far more specialized, I have two - one for property taxes in Kane county Illinois, the other is for Manufacturing like shop work, CNC, 3D printing.
I battle misinformation, hiding information on topics I understand. Nobody has any reason to block those instances.
The upside is we loose the useless assholes who contribute nothing but trolling. Unless of course they make the effort to spin up their own nodes and get blocked.
Purposed and expert fedi nodes do not get blocked, and these nodes are free to connect into a larger network.
