Reminds me of the scene in the movie The Shape of Water where Strickland enters the bathroom while the protagonist Eliza is in there cleaning. He says something to the effect of knowing the character of a person based on whether they wash their hands before or after they use the bathroom. Of course, being an asshole of a protagonist, he only washes his hands before using the toilet. A lot can be drawn from this observation.
