It’s so sad that we have the technology for any and all merchants to set up lightning nodes, accept channels from anyone, and have a robust global payment network outside of the fiat rails that saves everyone money on payment processing while cutting out the conventional oligopolistic middle men…
And yet, everyone is so crippled by laws and regulations that pretty much only the hardcore bitcoiner-run companies dare to do it, and the only willful customers for this setup are bitcoiners
Every online or brick & mortar store could easily generate a qr code and receive payment without giving two fucks who pays it
“We might get in some kind of trouble” is not a great reason to stay enslaved if you ask me
Very #frustrating but just keep stacking freedom units and maybe people will wake up someday
