You might see a bunch of stuff on the news about a "cash for land" peace deal brokered by the US with Russia. This is a complete misunderstanding of the situation on the US side - not everything is a property deal. Russia's invasion of Ukraine is NOT about territory - it is about political control. If Ukraine agrees (they won't and Europe will support them), then the Russians will rearm and restart again later. Today Donbas, tomorrow the Baltics. #russia #ukraine
