It's sad because I've seen people I know and love turn into "wife bad" boomer caricature after a few bad hands dealt their way. Life sucks sometimes, but vows are eternal and that means good times and bad. It's not like either party can call themselves blameless when that happens either, and unfortunately a lot of it falls on the men for spoiling their wives materially without focusing time and love towards them. Social media really screws with boomers like a second form of TV... it's odd.
