I respect the game, but I think nostr doesnt have mass appeal in the same way mastodon doesn't -- namely, the ownership model means there is no way for users to become addicted to it.

Nostr has been shrinking and dying for years and so I'm trying something new and different to try to improve this.

Removing sources of jank, complexity and confusion is part of my thesis why people leave nostr, because it feels broken to a noobs coming from Facebook or wherever normies hang out idk.

I'm trying to grow nostr, and not just by spamming a hashtag or trying to appeal to the same bitcoiners over and over again.

Maybe you're happy having everything be so jank that it acts as a filter so all we have left are vibe coders, but I'm not, and so I'm doing something about it, other than complaining about it.
