Okay but think about the kind of crap that’s officially forced on us these days, like Critical Theory, the Scamdemic, Secular Humanism and the like. You’re putting Traditional Orthodox Christianity in that same category - just from a long time ago. But that’s obviously not how it was or is. Trad Christianity has a very long and checkered relationship with the secular world. Most of the time, basics like Real Presence, Virgin Birth and the like weren’t debated - but a huge variety of different heresies cropped up, often taking over whole kingdoms, or fashionable large chunks of the Empire. Insofar as something withstanding the test of time, antiquity, cultural shifts etc, nothing even comes close. Totally different categories. So, why on earth *should* I believe they are really the same - in spite of such a huge and demonstrable differences ? Christianity is a whole Civilization, not some mere fashion trend that comes and goes.
