This one is a horror story. And it's about humanity meeting with another intelligence at last (rather than aliens I like to think that we just communicate with ants at long last, but it could be aliens)
But in this story we are telling them about the "Mirror test" and very smug about how some creatures can't pass it "You see? he thinks it's another dog!"
And they ants are just not getting it "it *is* another dog. Don't you know how mirrors really work?"
