I'm using copilot and Cursor in my day job. The initial bafflement has faded over time, and I find vibe coding much less enjoyable than writing code myself. It is often much faster, though, and it allows me to tackle bigger projects so I see that value. What I don't experience, however, is an improvement of how well the code generators work. At this point, I am not convinced that LLM based GenAI is going to be improving in quality enough to actually be competitive as developers.
