I saw an interview on YouTube with a guy who was successfully prosecuted for nothing more than engaging in IRL Bitcoin swaps.
No drug involvement. No mixing. No foreign interactions. He was literally just doing IRL Bitcoin swaps to earn a bit of money on arbitrage.
The Feds ruled in his case that ANY use of No-KYC Bitcoin was de-facto money laundering.
I remember it because was stunned. I was thinking of setting up an IRL Bitcoin store-front, like one of the crusty, dusty gold exchange places, only with Bitcoin.
I searched but cannot find that interview. I will keep an eye out for it. I should have saved it.
