I was originally planning to launch with Whisper 3 via Groq, which is also very fast and cheaper. But it doesn't have the nice features that DeepGram has. I found that Whisper segments transcripts better than Deepgram when there's music in the background. But I built PodChapters to make its own segments from the "word" transcripts.
