This is how email centralized too. All of the activity centralized into a few service providers because of spam and the inconvenience of running the servers.
In this case the banks will custody Bitcoin and refuse to send to addresses that haven’t been approved. Over time coins flow into their system and don’t leave. Of course they can’t do that right away but it’s coming.
Run a node. Self custody. Teach self custody.
