You’re living off sucrose and your insulin is perpetually elevated. It’s objectively not good for your metabolic health.
I used to be on a similar path but since cutting out all sugar and refined carbs and getting 99% of calories from fatty red meat I’ve gain substantial muscle mass, gotten leaner, seen significant strength & endurance increases and now have the ability to easily fast with no loss in energy. I’m 38 and stronger and sharper than I’ve ever been and I’m working out less than I used to.
There is nothing click bait about what Berry is saying. He has done mass research (with receipts) outside of being a physician. But being a physician he is more qualified to find and interpret the relevant research around diet and metabolic health.
