When Balaji Srinivasan discusses the state of the United States (and the West in general) and talks about AI, Bitcoin, and geopolitical future, it genuinely helps me understand what is going on at a deeper level.
Personally, I have mentally and emotionally checked out of the United States. I think it is a lost cause. The Left and the Right are just as retarded as each other just in their own unique ways. I do not make this statement as a cop out.
I believe Balaji is correct when he says people will save up for a passport as opposed to a house. If people that know me in real life think even for a second that I am gonna study hard, work hard, and slave away for a house in a country with dog shit designed suburban sprawl anti-social car-dependent crime-filled cities with excessive regulation and stupid laws, they would be GREATLY mistaken. Not to mention the almost unbelievable level of stupidity portrayed by the average citizen on a daily basis. I see it every single day. Thankfully, I am just incredibly lucky to be someone to have papers being processed to obtain a second passport through descent.
Currently, I am building my skills and saving in Bitcoin to make this future happen for me. I would love to be a part of one of the tight-knit Network state communities or something similar where my health, my community, and technology can be prioritized. The American dream was a scam from the beginning and I am beyond excited to work towards something better in the future. What a time to be alive.
