I know working from home is a concept, but it's not what I'm talking about here. It's not possible for many jobs and people. I'm talking about the quality-of-life-changing difference between a short walk or bike ride and a longer commute where you have to plan, and it costs money and time, and you can't control traffic jams and transport schedules. I like the actual walk or ride too. It's a nice way for the mind to move from work to personal life while the body gets accidental exercise.
