The same government that so many people are upset to see shrink, protected a man they knew to be a satanic pedophile.
Most of society holds the premise that we need government. Therefore the examples of government providing negative value are implicitly ignored by their minds.
Instead of challenging the entire existence of government, and consequently infighting with people too fearful the roads will go away, we should collectively address the main problem (centralized power) with a states rights movement.
People won't believe in Christ, but will believe in government having their best intentions.
It has become a moral issue
