Last week I took a trip to the Bloedel Reserve, an historic estate on Bainbridge Island just outside of Seattle. Today it's a botanical garden that has a some pretty interesting plants. To get there from Seattle, you take a ferry across Puget Sound. If you e never been in a car ferry before, it's quite an experience. Out here it's just a fact of life. (In this day, we got a Coast Guard escort, probably because of the World Cup matches in Seattle). A short thread. #PNW #gardening
