Glad you are excited to try the store however for product such as this, the store has no way of automatically marking the item out of stock if someone does purchase. And given this is a unique one of a kind item you must be aware of this.
You have enabled inventory management which was the correct choice, however the inventory management event has not been published yet and you will need to do so at hostednowhere.com/manage/store.
Although I am happy to see people wanting to try this out, I would highly recommend sellers start with items of far lesser value to prove out the system first. The seller should only ever share the link once they have gone through the full checkout process themselves to test they are comfortable with the system.
Please also be aware that once a store is created and the link is shared it can never be removed. But if you enable inventory management as you have done then the store can be marked as closed to prevent any future orders once the painting has sold.
