#scribesandmakers July 19 Invent a new imaginary instrument. What does it look and sound like?

The instrument is based on the bluebell flower - the flowers are crafted from the resin of the Silver Fir tree and colored blue by dye made from the leaves of the indigo tree.

The number of flowers of the BlueBell instrument depends on the skill of the player - masters of the instrument have been known to play up to 15.

Each flower is attuned to its player and all other previously attuned flowers. Most BlueBell artists and players are called to their craft at a young age and every community has a guild of players and crafters.

The sound is exquisitely moving and almost impossible to describe - something like a bell and a sigh and a purr and the wind moving through the branches of the silver fir tree.
