personally, I have no issues with that whatsoever. If you can hold your liquor, go ahead and drink. Most of us do and nothing happens. Same with weed/eatables. I have yet to see anyone stoned on weed to go violent in any way. It might not be good for you if you overdo it, but it's your life and you're only harming yourself, so.... More power to ya
