When in Plzeň, you start with Plzeňský Prazdroj. Actually I wanted to try only this beer in Czechia and be done with it. But oh was this a satisfying drink! The rich mouthfeel from the triple decoction and the foam! The assertive but smooth Saaz hops! The soft water! The pintable 4.4% ABV! Even my girlfriend who usually avoids Pilsner was amazed. Getting this fresh from draft in the town where it was made was so much better than any of the crappy German local brewery copies I ever had!
