There are good technologies, and bad technologies. This is a bad technology.
There are technologies that are good tools for art, and technologies that are bad tools for art. All told, unless you count hentai with weird fingers, it looks like a bad tool for art.
There are technologies that benefit the many, and technologies that benefit the few...etc etc ad nauseum.
