Definitely. Every pain has different sensations so I don’t find them easy to put on a linear scale. Sometimes people say you can gauge pain by how much it hampers your life - that might be helpful, but it’s also quite vague. E.g. “does the pain keep you awake at night?” Well, for me, a cold breeze across my skin can wake me up, and while that’s extremely uncomfortable that doesn’t seem like pain, so how can I compare?! Hmm!
