This is like saying we can't call someone racist because racism has different common and dictionary definitions. Obviously the fact that common use might differ from the dictionary (or even academic!) definitions doesn't make the term useless.

If you're saying we can't say someone's fascist when they're fascist, I'm done here. That's such a mindbogglingly stupid take I don't even know what to do with it.
