That's a smart plan - I've had to give up the shared allotment I was on, I've not been able to get down there since I put my back out. I'll still be helping my mate on his, but I just don't have the time atm. He wan't to install something to provide irrigation when he's not around. I was suggesting plastic bottles filled with water and string in the top, leading to the ground. In theory, the water should travel from the bottle to the plants.
