I am doing neither twisting nor imagining. I am pointing out the problem that was identified on No Agenda Social, as per the show's hosts.

The person hosting the instance could have decided to remove those posts and the associated accounts. That would have solved the problem.

Instead, the host of the instance decided to rebrand and keep the current status quo for what was posted.

Which part of this is incorrect, in your view?
