You'll never be truly "free" if you let System gaslighting convince you that every "law" in place is good.
This same logic would have led to people defending slavery, being against civil rights, being against women having the right to vote, being against gay rights etc...
All those changes were brought about by brave people changing society by ππͺπ΅π¦π³π’πππΊ engaging in (what was at that time considered) "crime".
Being a strict "legalist" is what The System πΈπ’π―π΅π΄ from you.

All these organizations are ππ¦π¨π’ππͺπ΄π΅. They offer no prospect of freedom for their followers, only the πͺπππΆπ΄πͺπ°π― of freedom.
This doesn't mean you have to be against π’ππ law(s), but that you should think for yourself and be brave enough to challenge injustice when you see it.
Unjust laws should not be followed. In fact, they shouldn't just not be followed. Ideally, they should be outright opposed openly.
