Speaking as someone who has had to troubleshoot computers for relatives and friends who aren't capable or willing to understand all the little gotchas of the type C port: please god no.
But as someone who understands all the little gotchas of the type C port: I absolutely love that we're close to having a truly universal port, but oh god is it a nightmare to figure out what port can do what things on each device... 😵💫
