Know what else is really fun? When you are asked by a customer to update their DNS or fix their email or whatever. So you login as them, get the 2FA prompt, and then text the customer to please forward the code. Hopefully the customer answers before the prompt times out.
Sysadmins having shared access to DNS and cloud service admin consoles is a normal thing, which 2FA is not set up to handle.
