it took a long while of tinkering to get the gifs under 50mb for a minute of playback. Topically I try to keep them in the 40ish range. Eric P (npub1z6g…amwj) and cottongin (npub1mqz…9wxa) just showed me .avif which look just as good for a fraction of the size
