I mean, I'm sorry your friends and you didn't realize and were upset by it, I'm not sure what to say
just by looking at their profile for two seconds, seeing posts that mention followers, then the posts dedicated to users, most ppl would conclude that the posts are for followers, and considering they're nsfw, they would assume that following means a post will be made for them
i guess not everyone would realize that, but I don't think that's spags fault that there's a minority of ppl out there that wouldn't understand that and follow randomly
sure adding it to their bio about what they are doing could help, and that would be cool, but some advice I'd give is to follow ppl based on what they post, don't just click a user, read their bio and follow, bc stuff like this could happen
