I'm sure I've said this before and I shall say it again! One of the things I like quite a lot about Fedi is that I often don't know if the 'accounts' (people) I'm interacting with are male, female, both, neither or a secret 'nother thing. So I basically just interact with everyone in exactly the same way. And overwhelmingly people respond positively. Quite often I'm surprised when I see a pic of the person and they're not what I assumed. I like that. There's probably some deeper meaning to be gleaned from this, but I just think it's cool that I can be me - unfiltered me - and gender mostly doesn't ever even come into it. I realise this seems like a sort of 'look at me aren't I great' humblebrag post, but I actually mean it and think that's really nice. Oh you're a non-binary masc presenting lesbian? OK do you like SHARKS?! I don't know why I picked sharks. I was reaching for something neutral and that was apparently what my brain thinks of as the universal language. Everybody loves sharks.
