Totally agree. It's something that requires patience, tolerance and a degree of empathy. All qualities that are at risk if those staff are under-resourced, or overly concerned about their financial, housing or immigration situation. Which doesn't fit well with a primarily privately run sector.
Perhaps the plan is to break the care sector, with the aim of bringing it back entirely under central or local government control?
