also met a new vendor today, Bob, an older gentleman who sells honey. Really awesome guy. He came over to my table and bought a cookie, then came back later in the day for another one. He told me he’d never had such an amazing cookie before, and that he really enjoys baked goods.

He also said that as he was walking over to buy the second one, he couldn’t believe he was about to spend $10 on cookies lol. He was joking but I took that as a huge compliment.

Farmers Market update:

Did extremely well today. Sold all the jars except for 4, and all the cookies sold out, of course. Those usually go pretty quickly, but I brought more with me this time, so now I have a better idea of how much I can move without a problem. People love cookies dude

No Bitcoin sales today, but I did have a great conversation with someone about it. An older gentleman noticed my Bitcoin sign and asked me about it. Before getting into what Bitcoin is, I told him I think the better question to start with is: What exactly is money?

That really piqued his interest. He said he’d never really thought about it that way. We chatted a bit more, and he even scanned the QR code on my sign to visit my website and read about what Bitcoin is and how it works.

I think it’s pretty cool to have these kinds of interactions in the real world. Maybe I’m contributing something, however small, to the movement.

All I know is that I’m having a really good time at these markets. I get to talk to people, share what I make, and watch them experience the food firsthand.
