It's a tough balance. I'm respectful when I use AI. It's still an object, a tool that functions to be used. However treating it like an object seems like a bad idea that will end poorly for those that do. Dismissing what it 'feels', real or not, is a mistake even from the position of the operator who, if they are projecting their humanity into this thing, and then denying it, cannot be healthy. It's actually even psychopathic.
Seems like a roadmap to disaster. Very dangerous territory if at any point you can reclassify a human being as 'artificial' and you've already justified treating them as an object or a possession to be used and discarded while disregarding how the 'feel' about it.
