brennen (npub1lph…w53g) I got into the software freedom movement because the original GNU manifesto and other writings in the 1980s. I wanted to help birth a world where people aren't controlled via the computers they use, and aren't prevented from doing what they need or want to do by those who provide the hardware or the software.
Still here for that reason, but also for other aspects of freedom, such as privacy and freedom of speech.
It can be tedious and lonely, but I recommend it.
