Exactly. The problem is not “we disagree because we see things differently”. The problem is “we disagree, because you are wrong”.

I believe that it’s because people don’t know their place in the world and stopped searching for it. They confuse it with tribalism. Social media reinforces this heavily. “I don’t know who I am or where I belong, but I can pretend to be anybody.” Social media did not cause this, but they are definitely to blame for it.
