Why should we "hire" them for our "benefit"? Why not learn to live with beaver people, respect them, learn from them?
Last wet winter, I had the pleasure of coming face to face with a beaver for the first time in my life. She came from a reintroduction of European beavers (nature park, under protection). I will never forget her look. Such friendly, intelligent creatures. The little ones really remind me of human babies, even with their tracks.
