This is a Uniparty thing BTW, it's one reason over the decades a lot of insurgents have been stopped, fined, or jailed because they were found to have broken post-Watergate Federal and local "campaign finance reforms" or the like, such as petition gathering laws or rules.
In part because the Uniparty owns all the lawyers with expertise in this area of law, relationships with the relevant authorities, etc. In part in some cases because normie activists didn't realize these Constitutionally dubious laws even existed.
If you can't get heard in court with competent counsel, the jury box is a purely theoretical concept.
