#HomeAssistant FTW.
It got unusually cool for a night in May last night, and I was able to take advantage of that by using a temperature sensor in my living room to cool the common areas of the house by eight degrees without air conditioning.
It takes more energy to heat this place during the winter than it does to cool it during the summer. So if I can do the exact reverse during winter and bring heat in during the day, sometimes, and warm the place up, then that would save me even more.
