It's kinda amazing how slow it is. And I thought Windows was bloated and shitty. Periodically troubleshooting a family member's M1 MacBook Pro which I retain an administrator user account on. Takes forever to login and populate the DE and perform actions compared to my Linux machine. I thought Apple silicon was supposed to be fast *and* that macOS was supposed to be widely optimized for their own hardware???
