"content": "Ok another plants and hiking trip. This time I visited Pahto or Mt Adams, the second highest peak (12,281 ft / 3743M) in Washington state. I've always been fascinated by its remoteness. Few Washingtonians ever even see it except on the distant horizon--it lies sandwiched between the vast Gifford Pinchot National Forest and the Yakima Indian reservation, and there's hardy even a paved road that passes near it. A short thread. \n#hiking #PNW #getoutside #nativeplants\nhttps://media.mstdn.social/media_attachments/files/116/933/736/070/950/023/original/baf27eb76e7d4961.jpeg\nhttps://media.mstdn.social/media_attachments/files/116/933/736/492/285/719/original/af89c001baa4684c.jpeg\n",
