For some reason the idiom "ten toes down" for "strong committed" is all over the place.

I keep hearing people saying "is she ten toes down for this?" or "I've always been ten toes down" for that... and I just hate it so much.

I just get this spongebob cut-scene horrific imagery every time I hear it.

But I guess it's better than "balls to the wall" whatever that's supposed to mean.

If you like these, it's not a big deal I just get squicked out because I aways imagine it very literally.
