One other difference -- how many of these fascist regimes successfully transferred power? Hitler and Mussolini both (arguably) outlived their regimes. Spain started restoring democracy days after Franco's death. The average is 30 years because these people all took power in their 40s. Trump is nearly 80. The man is certainly not going to live another 30 years. We will have an opportunity for change far sooner.
