Elon Musk and Sam Altman are still slap-fighting over the "open source"-ness of #OpenAI and #xAI (they still exist right? kinda?) and so forth, squabbling over possession of an empty slogan.

There's nothing whatsoever **open** or **free** in the material and physical reality of high-tech corporate affairs. They want everything locked down and metered, and 99% of the population condemned to use the lowest-quality products.
