I’m not on Bluesky; but if you’re starting a discussion about why people use it and starting with “licenses and standards” as the important discussion topic, you’re 100% missing the point of why people use it. They’re using BSky *because the product works better for them*. They *do not care* that it runs on X protocol or uses Y license. Like most FLOSS, the politics of a product choice comes a distant second to “does it work for my use case?”.
