Totally agree.
From time to time, I tell that I overpass red traffic lights, and that I do that mostly when I travel with my childs in the car, just to make a point. Of course I only do that when it's safe: I don't want to put them in danger.
But people tell me that it's not good advice for the children. They should know and obey the rules. Like waiting on a red light when nobody is comming in the other direction... just for the sake of waiting, because there is a light that says so.
